Description

Alcala Law Firm, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States, seeks an experienced, bilingual (Spanish/English) Accountant. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks and Excel, have strong business acumen, and an aptitude for technology. This individual will be a key player on a high-performing team of professionals. The law firm will provide visas for the Accountant and his/her immediate family.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Journal Entries
A/R, A/P, and Payroll
Review general ledger transactions and reconciliations
Review transactions to ensure compliance with accounting policies
Report Preparation daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually
Oversee all company accounting functions
Various tax reports and filing
Collections


Requirements

Fluent in Spanish and English
Minimum of 5 years Accounting Experience
Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other closely related field
Ability to make decisions and work as a team player with a minimal level of supervision
Understanding of US GAAP Ability to research and resolve basic to complex accounting issues
Ability to explain complex accounting issues to management and others
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Well-versed in QuickBooks and Excel
High level of professionalism
Honest, ethical
